draws are shameful, ive drawed comp4impossiblke a few times and thats a 1500 to 2500 difference, so surely carlsen can draw anand, doesnt take much skill just cowardice, and fear to take risks, and for those that say that a true chess player appreciates a draw, even nakamura was dissapointed, so i guess it comes down to the blitz games where it is harder to draw, whos the better blitz player, a relaxed anand or a coward carlsen, who just drew 12 times?

my point is carlsen will have to play more agressive if he hopes to win this match, so go carlsen and stop being such a coward! this is chess, worlds most exciting sport, not watching paint dry chamionships!

Why are all thinking about 12 draws? Have you ever followed a match before?! There is only played 2 games! And it is normal that the first 2-3 games in a match is Quiet draws!

You Can compare it to the World Championship in football, it is the final. In the first 15 minutes the teams try to stay a bit defensive before they attack.

No one wants to be the guy that played excitingly and lost.

In the history of world Championships draws happen 70% of the time. So IMHO were looking at 3-4 decisive games here. It is quiet normal that when the players feel they are behind or at a disadvantage they will try to equalize or go for a move repetition. What is interesting is their opening preparations, I do hope to see more moves being played before the draws happen.

Well, now it's going to take 6 decisive games to put the match thru the stupid rigamaorle of blitz chess deciding it!

NOT HAPPENING!  As mentioned 2 posts ago, he nailed it in the head, 3 to 4 decisive results.  Only way that doesn't happen now is Anand wins 2 straight.

Step aside India.  Nice knowin' ya!  Hello Norway!
