I'm surprised they haven't filed all the pieces into shivs.

Why the heck is this crap even being reported?

Maybe he didn't believe the en passant rule.

I was playing a guy years ago and I captured one of his pawns en passant.  He got mad, and said he didn't believe in "that made up rule".  I told him, "You idiot, all the rules of chess were made up by somebody!"

And then I slugged him.

I assume you're refering to my avatar.  That's a picture of Chess.com's own Denny Rensch.

Hey! That's how happen to go to tournaments. Been doing that for years, it gets a little hot sometimes though.

Right. I guess the sombrero keeps your opponent from seeing where you are looking on the board.

Sort of like what happened in the Trollnament last weekend.

I saw the exact same thing in an episode of "jail--police lockup" a couple of months a goat 3am. The loser didn't want to pay cigarettes to the winner

Yep. But sometimes it falls off when I'm leaning forward too much over the board. That gets a little awkward until the pieces get set back up.

Thank  GOD we are separated from each other when we play against each other. Personally I think chess players are an OBSESSIVE. Their emotions spill over. On the other hand chess is 2 opposing armies attacking each other.  He slipped into the "physical" mode ...forgot its a GAME.

I think I saw him play here the other day. Very verbally abusive!
