I couldn't open the link. I would be excited to see more chess activity in the Midwest. I think the distance from cities makes things difficult.

GM Alex Yermolinsky and his wife WGM Camilla Baginskaite have moved to Sioux Falls to work with the scholastic chess programs in the Midwest. Alex and his wife said that they chose Sioux Falls as it would be a new challenge for them as there are not many chess players there. Their ambition is to build the largest scholastic chess program throughout the Midwest region.
