As everyone in the chess fraternity knows, a rather important match is going to be held at Bonn in October - November of this year. I can be hardly called an unbiased neutral, but since this is my first world championship match - There was no coverage of the 2006 match in India - I am understandably

Thanks. I discovered the chessvibes site quite recently, but didn't notice the interviews until you mentioned them. It's interesting to hear what they have to say. Kramnik in particular seems pretty relaxed and philosophical despite his losses.

It appears there is not going to be a Topalov-Kamsky match. Kamsky is playing the Olympiad which is in November, wasnt their match supposed to be in November ?

This is so sad - I was enjoying reading through some chess history here and seeing reactions to events that happened nearly 20 years ago now, and then I see the comments from 2026 and it’s someone asking for people to join their club. why this forum?
