Nope, I've never dressed up as a llama / animal... but like that other guy said, I think of it the way I think of renaissance fairs... a bit weird and silly, but it's just people messing around having fun... I'd rather go to a furry convention than a comic or renaissance one because it'd be more colorful and creative... I wouldn't dress up, but maybe I could play chess with people

Last time I went to a renaissance fair was... maybe as a teen... I was really bored... but I'm pretty introverted, so I'm typically bored at any social event thing.

I saw some youtube thing on it once... the youtuber went to a furry convention and just hung out. Seemed like normal people (and just like at a renaissance fair, there were plenty of people wearing normal clothes). After I saw that I thought people make waaaay too big a deal out of it... never saw anyone thinking they were an animal.

The thread with my poem in it has been deleted, so here's the poem:
Getting Mated
And now, checkmate is near
And so I face the final curtain 
"Resigns", I'll say it clear
My Queen is lost, my Pawns are hurtin'
Sad regrets, I have a few

My moves were random, hit-or-miss,

so the weird, socially awkward teenagers that want to feel unique and not left out like to pretend to be animals by dressing up and acting as one?
that still sounds,looks,and seems extreme weird and worrying... i wonder what their parents think about them
