Hello everyone. Recently made friends with [removed -- MS]. We messaged each other about tea and other mutual interests. Then this person tried to manipulate me into give them my phone number because they wanted to send me their picture instead of posting it as their avatar. Red flag. Blocked and reported. I'm not having it.

and why do the rest of the forum have to know this ?

If you have blocked and reported, then staff will handle the report.

Wow, I didn't expect the snarky comments. I posted this to warn others, since many members here have had issues with other members trying to scam or harm them and have posted about their negative experiences. I do know that our comments are meant to be helpful, which none of the above comments were, which is sad.

But the community must stay informed!
