In 2018 I would've been the biggest troll, then I had to change my username because people kept threatening to ban me/trying to ban me
It tricked a lot of people into thinking this was a new account lmao
Bruh
The most infamous troll in the history of chess has to be Robert Fischer. Guy trolled so hard he'd even troll his own thine self.

That's a bit strong, don't you think? The guy after all didn't hate Jewish people, he hated Judaism and the cultural practices that stem from it. This was probably brought on by his childhood issues with his own Jewish family.

Bobby Fischer not only trolled the Soviet Chess machine, American Chess fans, and himself (by ignoring his mental health), but he also trolled the United States Chess Federation pretty hard. He was kind of their Jesus, then he said a bunch of stuff they tried to ignore, then 9/11 happened, and it changed everything. Kind of like when the fire nation attacked. But yeah, they were like "bruh."
For the record: I don't think Fischer had any mental illnesses, I think he had a few deep seated psychological illnesses. The guy was an analyst, by nature. He probably analyzed things a little to obsessively at an age when his mind wasn't mature enough to handle certain ideas. This must've stuck with him, and then came along all sorts of conspiracy theorists waiting to fill the gaps. He then grew up and it became more and more difficult to change his stance on things, and only more and more easy to further them.
Do you know any infamous trolls?
