The #1 and probably the best strategy is to bring out queens early and yes, I know this is something you don't really want in 2 player chess but since the 4pc board is huge the queens can go to various places to attack. I recommend to attack (with both queens) 2 spots where the king is close to checkmate with double check (kind of like in atomic) s and that is the rule you should mostly follow in 4pc teams

yea the first move by black most of the time is already forced so he does not loses such as this:
if 1. Nf3 black will HAVE to play f6 to not lose otherwise Ne5 wins the game since it is forking 2 places where the king would explode
