Honestly, if someone accuses you of cheating just because you played a clean Caro-Kann at a good pace, that's a compliment—it means they can’t imagine someone playing that well naturally.

People should really learn to be anonymous about their allegations, IMO. If I think you cheated, I just simply report it after the game and chess.com looks into it. I have played several accounts closed for cheating in the past.

I agree, just report after the game. I am just annoyed I got accused over such a boring game. There wasn't any special sacrifice or tactic, he just lost a pawn and decided to get angy.

It was a rapid 10 min game and I am playing black. I don't think I was losing at any point, the one move I made that lost advantage was move 10 Bd6, I thought I had a bishop sacrifice Bxh2, but apparently that was a bad idea according to the engine. The game was even until move 13.

I didn’t mean losing exactly but he would’ve had a nice small advantage with a clear plan and pretty easy play (imo). Anyways idk why when people play badly they say the opponent is cheating, -like trading the bishop for your knight was odd and then he dropped a bunch of pawns- maybe he thought that it was a poisoned pawn but he clearly didn’t have enough pieces over there to trap your queen or win enough Tempe. Idk but you clearly didn’t cheat

I used to do this to players that stay too much in learning beginings book without thinking.
I got them completely out of theory moves... they face was a pleasure to see... because they couldnt addapt to strange moves... real life story from my chilfhood in chess tournaments

I can actually do that. Infact as far as I'm aware, that's doable at least upto the 2200s.
Rn my rating is 1918 at the time of writing this comment.

The game in question. I didn't even play anything special, this is just a regulation Caro. If you want to put a Caro player under pressure play the Fantasy, Panov, or Alien Gambit. He just lost one pawn and decided to throw for the rest of the game because his Kramnik senses were tingling. I also notice that in Rapid if you play quickly for some reason your opponent also plays fast. You don't have to match my speed LOL. I play fast because I play a lot blitz and bullet, so that is the pace I am comfortable with, but if I need to think about a move I will.
