I have a Checkmate Ltd. Chess set made of marble tile and stained hardwood edged in brass. Pieces are sculpted and cast in solid metal and plated in nickel silver and pure gold. Less than 1000 sets made. I have pictures and an authentication letter. The last one sold for $24,000 per the authentication letter. A fun fact from the manufacturer...Judge Judy has one. I purchased in 2023 for $17,000 from a gallery. It has never been played. I'm wanting $15, for it. Pics available if interested!!!
