he must have thought you wanted to spank him, not thank him. it’s ok, anyone could make that mistake. just check your note to that opponent for typos and at least then you have an excuse.

Reports are private so you don't know who reported you or not. And it doesn't matter if they do anyway unless you did something wrong.

It does matter tho. and you do know cause you get a warning or sanction which is not fair and the other guy is laughing and blocked you to try to avoid any follow-up
They gotta do something to make themselves feel better, I suppose

You don't get a warning or sanction just for being reported. You get a warning or sanction if you were deemed to have done something wrong. If you didn't then nothing happens.
Try not to beat people, that way you won't get reported

If they reported you for nothing, then nothing is gonna happen. Don't sweat it.
Praveen, the thread is three years old. The OP most likely knows they're safe now. 
The last game I played ( no shaming ) reported me after saying thank you after I blundered. Being a smart ass and then reporting me for nothing....fella, we don't need people like you here.
