I'll deffinitely look into it. I moved from Chicago to San Bernadino, and don't have any OTB friends to play with. (Actually the reason I loaded up this 6 year old account recently, lol.)

I also live in San Bernardino, my brother, uncle and myself have been looking for people to play with in the area. We found a small group of people who meet Friday nights for casual chess at the Dennys in Colton off of La Cadena. We aren't able to go a lot due to work schedules, but if you are up for playing on a Saturday or Sunday night, I can get my uncle and brother to play also. Unfortunately, there really isn't much around our area as far as competitive play. The closest place I found is up in Victorville, which is kind of far.

nope. i play wed. nights in yucaipa and i do believe they are still doing thursdays at "back to the grind" in riverside around the mission inn, but san berdoo is a dead spot far as i know.

Anyone in the IE area playing chess? I usually go to Starbucks in lasers heights. But its not always a convienvant drive. I heard of a place where they play chess in Ontario or Rancho in village gardens. Anyone know about this. I'm going to try to catch back to the grind this Thursday as well. Call if your looking for some OTB games. I usually play blitz
