  INTRODUCTION  

With the help of our great community, in a combined effort, we would like to improve the forum atmosphere and instill a sense of companionship and solidarity.

We want all of these meaningless fights, feuds and grudges to end and provide an open platform with a positive atmosphere, for people with a genuine interest in this cause, to engage in an ongoing discussion for the purpose of raising awareness and effecting positive change.

We do not operate within any official capacity and have not been tasked by staff or support to engage in this undertaking. We do all of this voluntarily, on our own time, using our own resources, because we honestly care about these forums and the current state that they are in.

  COMMUNITY GOALS  

These goals represent our desired state of the community. It could be considered an ideal that we are trying to strive towards. Note, that we obviously don't expect anyone to share our notion of this ideal community, it is simply how we personally envision it.

• Members contributing more meaningful and earnest content in the forums
• Communicating in an inherently respectful and kind manner
• Judging people by the nature of their character, not their appearance
  
• Making a sincere effort to both respect and abide by the Terms of Service
  
• Effect positive change by continuing to have an open discussion
  
• Afford everyone with good intentions the opportunity to speak unmolested
• Reunite the community and instill a sense of companionship and solidarity
• Restore virtues of self-motivated support of others
• Provide an incentive to encourage positive and helpful posting

  COMMUNITY METHODS  

As regular members all the tools that we have at our disposal are an open discussion, conducted in a civil, constructive and purposefully directed manner, and positive reinforcement.

It is our belief that by raising awareness about this problem that we are all facing, and consistently maintaining an open dialogue with a positive atmosphere, where all members can share experiences, possibly settle their differences and find common ground, that we can make a difference. 

We are aware, that this endeavor is not to be taken lightly, and that we won't be able to find success overnight, if ever. However, if we continue to talk about these issues, while reaching and possibly even inspiring more and more members, we do believe that positive change can be effected as a result.

  POSTING RULES  

• No Spamming of any kind, be relevant and contributive
• No Excessive use of Multi-/Quotes, use the @ function instead
  
• No Shaming other members for being denied or accepted
  
• No Trolling, suspicious accounts will be blocked
  
• No Fighting, we are a team and should behave as such
• No Advertising of clubs or services of any kind
• No Off Topic debates, please focus on the main goals
  

1) How to behave when being baited or antagonized? 

• Diffuse and deescalate by ignoring the perpetrator
  
• Try not to quote, respond, reference or acknowledge it in any way
  
• Report suspected attempts and stay calm
  
• As a bystander, don't encourage, support or celebrate any such activity
  
• Remind the victim to remain calm and indifferent to the attack
  

1.1) How to identify such behavior?

One who deliberately antagonizes, threatens, baits or insults others in an attempt to elicit an equally charged reaction or emotional response should be treated with caution.

In such an event, please maintain your composure and apply the rules of conduct noted above.

1.2) Indicators of a potential case

Please, be careful if most or all of these stand true.

•  Brand new accounts who have recently joined
•  Inflammatory or otherwise baiting posting style
•  No interest in participation or reasonable discussion and only means to disrupt
•  Attempts to start and maintain meaningless debates
•  Disguises true motives and tries to covertly join the discussion
•  Exclusively resorts to the posting of memes, gifs and videos

Absolutely, that's why I created this topic. But we have to be careful, because a mod already moved this to the club section once, because I mentioned our club rules. So let's mainly focus on the join requirements and official name first, I think a lot of criticism was expressed in that regard too, with concerns about people being excluded.
