Hello chess community!  I have been on the site for a while now and I absolutely loved playing here. I would consider myself to be an advanced player with 1700-1800 rating range. I feel, it's time to take my chess to next level with some serious study. I have plans to start my OTB journey this year. I know , with my current knowledge I can play some amateur tournaments and I may also win some games and lose some. But, my intention is not to be an average amateur player. I really want to play like a pro in my OTB tournaments.  Meanwhile,  I know that it's possible only by serious preparation. I am not in a position to take private coaching right now( I would consider this once after I cross 2000 level). I am a firm believer of self study. Some of the areas I wanna focus are tactics, deep position al understanding, self evaluation of any given position and finally opening repertoire. I have my goals very clear , but I am not clear about the exact paths that I should take to reach those goals. That's why I am here to take some suggestions from the expert people who are either on the same path or have already achieved this. What are the best ways for self study that are sufficient to be a titled player . Please shed some light on the ways and resources that are really helpful in this regard.

Thanks in advance
