Got my @ss beaten by a NM once. Pretty funny, had a few laughs over discord... ;P
Not all adoptions are that way though, sadly.
Beat a CM same day, he was playing a simul and underestimated me (I was USCF ~450 at the time...)
He proceeded to blunder mate in one in front of all his friends, pretty funny
