@autobunny's real name is Auto Bunny T19. He's our last chance at human survival. His mind is human, taken from a volunteer, his heart is from a very special breed of wild hare who are rumoured to be highly resilient to aging, his body is part mechanical part Crystal and part real bunny.

Or rather not 'what', it was a who - it was autobunny... still alive. As to how that was humanly possible, only these next guys could explain - it turns out they were running the same investigation as we... autobunny had:
They claimed they could save the autobunny. What else could we do, it was all above our paygrade at the time and we thought we were doing the grading, marking the papers.
