Because these pieces were so light, the 3 pennies in the base gives them a really low centre of gravity, making them extremely stable.

What did you do to cut the baize? Did you use the cuticle scissors trick I posted about?

Once that cured, I sanded and then glued on a piece of baize. I left the glue to dry overnight and then cut to shape:
