Allan Viktor?

Hello there! As a beginner i bought a few chess books, in particular this book "chess tactics for beginners, playing better with the knight" from Allan Viktor (I know internet is full of free exercices, but i just like holding a real book in my hands, oldschool way). I am curious of this author because there are maybe a dozens of books from him like this one, but i found absolutely zero information on the Guy online. No FIDE ratings, no USCF ratings, zero article, nothing... Do you guys have any info on him or did I just bought a book of online exercices that a random guy printed and get paid for it? i must say nonetheless that i am happy with this book and the exercices are very fun to resolve. But i am curious.
