Can anyone recommend a chess app for Android smartphones?

I've tried tChess on the iPhone, and it's very, very good. I'd love something similar for Android, but the author has no plans to port it :(

There is a chess.com app for it.

Thanks, I am aware of the app.

Does anyone know of a decent PGN viewer? I'd like to be able to use the smartphone to replay through games whilst studying.

I have scid on my android phone and also droidfish which is stockfish version for android. I download pgn files directly from the web and open and manage them in scid.

I use Scid on the Go. I make a database on the PC, put any games I wish to go over in it, then copy it to the phone. Works pretty well, variations are usable and the comments are readable.
