Chris Yoo, the American GM, posted a topic here talking about his scandal at the US Championship claiming not guilty. A few hours later it disappeared from here.

Who is they? If you would have read further on Yoo's original post, you would see that he deleted/changed the post himself. Why would a mod or anyone else put such chess pictures out of nowhere. Maybe because he didnt get the feedback he wanted and expected from it. Did you try asking him directly if someone else moved and deleted it? Also didnt you say that you dont think that he is innocent?
