Announce Move Function in Fritz

Is there a trick to getting Fritz to announce its moves?

I found the multimedia tab under options and lit up the buttom for the function, but it doesn't work.  I don't think the problem is with the computer, because the board noises and music functions are working.

I don't think you can have board sounds checked when using the talk. Also open the talk tab right next to talk and see if you have a file there. Those are all the sounds in the talk file. I used to have problems all the time with the talk function of the fritz 9-12s.

In the menu for the Rabbit Connect (DGT driver), there is a sound tab.  This includes "FEN work around".  I have no idea what that means.  However, lighting it up has resulted in the announce move function working.
