DGT clocks. I recommend the DGT 1500 for value and short time controls, which are typical for outside games.
Best chess clock for usage in bright daylight
Key thing is look at the YouTubers that play outside. You will find the guys at (1812) Coffee Chess - YouTube use a ZMF-Pro. They have HUGE thick digits.
Others like Hikaru Use a Chronos Chess Clock.
Check out videos of guys playing in the parks and you should get a good idea on the best fit for you.

Chess Gorilla
thanks! unfortunately they dont sell the ZMF-pro or Chronos clocks in Europe.... I agree that the ZMF-pro is a good choice.
What clocks are known to have clear digits, even when playing outside in bright daylight? I want to film the board plus the clock, and the time needs to be clearly visible on the movie.
Gemini told me I need a reflective LCD screen as opposed to LED clocks. Also, I'm considering buying an analogue clock but I prefer digital ones for the obvious reasons. Does anyone have tips/ experience with this?
Cheers, Vegetaaaaa
Any clock with a normal LCD screen is great for daylight, meaning the DGT 2500, DGT updated NA, or any of the Chronos clocks, or the ZMF Clocks that do NOT have a LED display (most of their newer clocks should be fine). The Chess Gorilla/Leap/Vtec/Silverback clocks are also LCD and work great in daylight. Still best to not have sunlight shining directly on the clock's display on a hot day. Always take care of your clocks from -direct- sunlight and overheating.
