I have not busted out a physical chess set in 15 years.  They are more decoration than anything else, these days.

25.00, in my opinion, is insane for a factory mass produced set. Hand made, 25.00 is reasonable. 

I wouldn't buy one, but thats just me and don't need one like that.  But yes, I'm sure s/he would have trouble keeping up with demand once people knew about them. Hope this helps.

I wouldn't recomend selling on ebay though unless s/he doesn't mind getting killed with fees.
