no, i dont think u can, but i think alot of clocks have move counters, so when u reach the desired number of moves. u can stop the game , or reset the clock, or whatnot

Well mine has move counter too of course, but it would be a good opportunity to have an acoustic alert or something similar to advise about the move number limit.. Instead we have to periodicaly check the move counter and eventually reset the clock manually. I think it's a strange lack in a so technology time and clock..
Hello to all, does anyone know how to use tournament digital clocks (official FIDE)? I have one (DGT XL) and I would understand if you can set a fixed number of moves in a fixed time. From the instruction booklet I think I have figured out that this is only possible with the "Fischer" mode, for which there are already pre-programmed option clock types in the internal memory, but there is also the possibility to set the type of your choice by selecting the option "00". I did various tests but I cannot set the number of moves in a given time also by selecting the "Fischer" mode, can anyone who knows these clocks give me an explanation?
