Question 1

I am looking for a wooden chess board(2.25~2.375" square) that matches ebonized Zagreb pieces.

I prefer a chess board with decorative edge, as you can see below.

Is there any chess board you recommend?

Question 2

Do you know who sells this chess board?

I saw it on chess.com website, but the person who posted the picture closed his account.

Question 3

Does it look unnatural to use 3.875" (1.65" base) pieces on 2.5" square chess board?

Does anyone have that experience?

Wow,

with your help, I could find a good chess board.

House of Staunton also sells it, but they sell only 2.5" square size version.

Cajun sells 2.25" version, which I wanted!

I'm pretty sue I have the second board shown and it was sourced from Chessbazaar.....I currently have a serious desire to obtain their "Light Colored Sheesham" board.....The one with the nice edges,as can be seen on their site....Gorgeous! I'm waiting for them to list discounts again and am aware they are going to soon raise prices.......We'll see.

Good luck.
