This is a nice smaller set from Chavet Ref. #206 . The top prices are commanded by the larger sets with the 3.5" or higher Kings. Mainly because that is what people saw being used in the World Chess Championships and Intel Grand Prix. I would say $80 to $100 for this one. Based on what I have seen them go for on auction sites. I got these Chavet chess pieces and done a bit of research. Basically, I want to know if the pieces are authentic Chavet pieces, and if so, what is this set worth?
I compared some photos and they look real but I know nothing about them so before I sell them on, I just need some expertise! I have read a few forums on this and the photos look like mine. The king stands at approx 6.9CM and the white king looks to be slightly darker shade than the other white pieces. Is this normal? I have put all my photos for yous to advise!
