Wow, what a collections. Absolutely beautiful sets!

Thank you all. My goal was not necessarily to collect but rather to find answers in the evolution of Chavet games. Difficult to find real documentation, but with each game, when it was possible to identify the year of manufacture according to the memories of purchases of the former owners, I was able to trace the thread of my questions. I think I have a little more than 50, 60… that's not at all reasonable ;-)

Mister MCH818, he started with one so there is still hope for you! We all root for you!

Walterbiensur

Thanks @MCH818, but which one, the first one or the 2nd one ;-)

Your wife knows you like cellars? Here we call them dark rooms.

I've currently got 8 bottles of wine in the wine cellar, known here as the fridge. Most pricey is 8 bucks and they're all quite good.

I became an expert in buying el-cheapo wines.

I think it's the finish called "Antique" mahogany color. Whites are also tinted in a variety of "yellow". And I confirm it, nothing to do with the Walnut finish color…

Really fine looking set.
