Better to create a new forum thread (in the Chess Books & Equipment section), to sell your chess set.

So, I’m definitely no design expert, but one thing I regret slightly when designing my set was not allowing 1-1.5mm for the bottom felt.

Not sure how precise you want to be with the piece dimensions (particularly heights), but if you’re a bit OCD you may want to allow for the felt thickness (especially if you think you’ll want to use higher quality, thicker felt or baize).

Great point, I like the way you think. I had actually provisioned for that earlier, however I believe the felt offset is no longer there. I'll have to add it back in. thanks

I assume your pieces will not be weighted?  If not, do you expect that to be an issue?

hey @RussBell

I have weighted the prototypes with a bolt. And I intend to weight the wooden sets as well. is there a complication with weights than I'm not aware of?

I was just concerned that the pieces might be too light.  The only issue with weights that seems to come up from time to time, that players complain about, is that of loose weights - i.e., that can rattle around, and become an annoyance.  But it appears you are taking care of that possibility.
