Hi,

Has anyone seen this set before? It's a funky little wooden travel set but I can't seem to find any more info than that. Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance!

This set does seem familiar - I'll look through my bookmarked vendors (but it could have been eBay... wink.png

There was a thread on here where someone posted about this type of design. Some loved it while others not so much. I will look for that thread.

[edit] Sorry I was not able to find the thread I was thinking of. I believe it was in Post Your Chess sets but that thread is far to large to find the post. Anyhow, I found another. https://www.chess.com/forum/view/general/best-chess-sets-post-yours. It has the same design but I believe is not a travel set.

It's probably made in Poland by "Wegiel".

Looks like onr of those novelty Polish sets without the opposite colored finials.

ChessUSA has a bunch of them for sale in different sizes.

Thanks for all the replies everyone, it definitely looks like a version of the polish sets mentioned. Definitely an aesthetic that’s not for everyone but I find it charming!
