Afternoon all,
trying to ID a chess set I recently bought loose and any assistance or pointers would be very much appreciated as there is nothing obvious I can see to point to a make or material etc. Photos inserted below.
The board is quite heavy at around 2.7kg and framed by a metal that used to be gold coloured from the look of it. Seems to have been cleaned back to a metallic silver.
pieces are quite bulky also weighing in between 30g (pawn) to 60g (King). No idea again on the material.
any pointers or thoughts would be very much appreciated. Thanks. James.
