Hi there,

a friend of mine pointed me to https://www.manyaspace.com/ and I wonder whether any of you guys have heard of it?

Nice. Suspiciously cheap. Similar chinese robot is far more expensive: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005007798706191.html

It looks like a very cheap toy that, if it is real, would beat the Novag Robot to claim the title of the most worthless moving chess set.

I wonder if it will be fast enough to blitz.

No doubt it won't. There's no practical way a robotic arm is fast enough to play blitz. Have you ever seen, OTB, how fast the two players move, especially at very end of their own time, when there are only a handful of seconds on their respective clocks?

*all* electronic boards, including self-moving boards, are perfect for Classical games, and for some of the Rapid time controls. None can be practically used for Blitz.

Hello, I've been looking at this product for several days.
This YouTuber's video helps clarify his point of view: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p_ulbarb_dI&t=8s
But there are still a few unanswered questions:

The connection to chess.com or lichess isn't effective; these are Python libraries.
And nothing is specified about the device needed alongside it: phone, computer, etc.

The product isn't in production yet.

More testers would have been welcome.

I'd appreciate any information before deciding whether or not to use it.
