Hi everyone! I was just wondering what kind of setup you have for chess. do you play on your phone or sit at a desk? I personally have a monitor setup and wonder what others have!!

The same: monitor on a desk, playing on a desktop. I play on a laptop with a mouse when I am not at home.

On my iphone pro max because it does everything I need it to do and fast doing it.

For playing, game analysis and tactics training, I use the app.

For forums, messaging, learning and library functions, I use the browser.

I am not a fan of the classroom function so I’ll use zoom for lessons.

Most of my games are play at a cafe. I use to play at bars before that.

Desktop and monitor system. I have a phone and the app, but my big, fat, shaky fingers were not made for playing Chess on a phone.

I play chess at my desk with a personal computer. I also make sure to have some Ted Nugent playing at 200 watts while I am enjoying my chess games.

I play games and read this forum on the App on a small iPhone SE and I use the browser on the phone to view and upload photos. For some reason I have never been able to upload photos in the App - and that’s a pain.
Every now and then I use a microsoft-based laptop to view and play too.
Very soon l will be upgrading my phone to a larger model.

I have a Desktop and Monitor system - I do not like playing chess on my phone.

I use a desktop pc with monitor much of the time, and I use apps on my smartphone when in bed or away from home. I also have either a travel set next to the pc, or a larger board (or two), set up on another desk in the same room for study.

I have a chess area, part of my personal den/office that is a shared room with my work office. It is my youngest son's old bedroom, repurposed.

My desk that I play/study chess is a large 4' x 6' desk my youngest son made before he moved out (needs to be dismantled to move so he said forget it). It holds one of my computers, 2 chess boards (one of my e-boards, currently the Evo is in use, and a regular study board) as well as an iPad and currently an old solitaire Avalon Hill wargame (Patton's Best).

I spend WAY too much time in the room since I work my regular job in here as well as personal time doing online stuff, studying, playing, etc.
