... and here's video of using it to play the lichess.org bot at its top level. I had no issues with the extension using it on a Bluetooth DGT board - Thanks for this significant update.
Chessconnect: a free chrome extension for electronic chessboards

Thank you @Hamilton53. I really enjoy your videos. 😊
I just found out the 3.4.11 has a problem with the House of Staunton Sensory Board. I'll release a fix shortly. If anyone need the fix sooner, please contact me directly. I have a preliminary version available.

Hi,
This must be a bug in the latest version: Although my settings were set to announce moves, it worked perfectly until then, but since yesterday, the announcements are now repeated three times in a row, which is disturbing. I turned it back to bip for the moment.
Congratulations on your work

3.4.11 has some major changes to it's sound and speech system. And I did have the repeated annoncements problem once but I thought I solved it. Is anybody else experiencing this?
@DeBelfaux: Thank you for bringing this to my attention! I am really grateful for this kind of feedback. What browser and operating system are you using?

A question for all: 3.4.11 has a confirmation sound that is played when the opponent move performed correctly on the eBoard. Currently this is only enabled for boards without LEDs (i.e. DGT). I am thinking about making this feature available for all boards. Probably with a switch in the options to turn it on or off. What do you think? Is it worth the effort?

I've only played one game but announcements have been fine for me. I did have trouble initially after installing the new version. My board showed as connected but was not responsive at all. I unplugged the board and plugged it back in and all was fine.
Thanks Jörn

I would like this, but if it is a big lift to accomplish, I can live without it.

I'd like it even if I had an LED board. It's nice to have that reassurance that the move has registered properly. It's quite soothing too. I really missed it when we had to go back to the original version for a short while.

Jörn good day.
Again thank you for your work on chessconnect.
Since Chessnut Go has a very good discount in these last days I wanted to know if your app/extension is working also on Chessnut Go? I cannot see it listed on your website!
Thanks in advance,
Andrew

Yes, it works.
The game in this video on the Chessnut GO was played using Chessconnect through the Edge browser, Surface Laptop 3 running Windows 11.

One wonders, why Chessnut does not list Chessconnect on the Chessnut Go web page. All the other apps are listed and I did inform them.

Most likely, Hanlon's Razor... 😏 Don't take it personally! 👍
I noticed that Chessnut hasn't included a bunch of detail on their website that would make sense (i.e., battery capacity, play time, charging port and compatibility) either. I had to ask them directly and they freely shared the information. I'm not sure why they didn't just put this all on the Chessnut GO specs section!
Cheers.

Thank you guys for your quick reply, I'll check now if the size of Chessnut Go is worth the investment, mainly for playing on the go... that was my idea, but if too small, maybe better to stay on the Chessnut Air. Good to know that Chessconnect is working also on this device!!!
Have a nice day,
Andrew

@joernupbde I’m on google chrome with windows 11 using a Chessnut air with Chessconnect

Also received this error message when i refreshed this page, and my chessnut air wasn't connected. Scary, because i dont understand the matter...

Just disable debug messages in the Chessconnect options. When this is enabled, Chessconnect will report every error on the web page. This include the chess.com code, too. The error above is not from Chessconnect. Basically, you should only enable debug messages, if I ask you to.
I just released version 3.4.11 as the next official release. Thanks to everybody who helped testing the beta!
