Phew! Lucky guess, I suppose.
I will make a new release probably this weekend and an announcement in this group when it becomes available. Then you should switch over to the official release.

Bad news, I played a new game and the triple repeat happened again... new beta wasnt the good one
I think I found the problem with the multiple move announcements. This happens when there are multiple browser tabs open with Chessconnect in them. I.e., multiple chess.com or lichess tabs.

I think you have Jörn. I could replicate multiple announcements by having more than one tab open.
Also, I'm not getting that disconnect any longer on Windows on Lichess. I'm not sure what was causing that.
Cheers

I always have 2 or 3 chess.com tabs open, but before the previous update, announcements were OK.
Yup, that matches my theory.
You're right, with only one tab open, announcements are OK
I will release a patch later today. That should also fix announcements being cut short or not made at all.
That version will also fully support the new House of Staunton Sensory Board together with the Tap N Set Pro chess clock. That is the second chess clock that works with Chessconnect and I am quite pleased with that combo.
Can someone explain to me what you use a chess clock for with these boards?
I see it mentioned but I don't get it. Is it just to have a clock so you get in the practice of hitting it?
Does it not transmit the move until you hit the clock? What about your opponent?
No, the move is transmitted as normal. It's just nicer to look on the chessclock instead of looking on a computer screen on your phone. But that's of course a matter of taste. I quite like the setup with clock. Is it a neccessety? Absolutely not.
3.5.0beta is waiting for Google's approval. I changed the versioning scheme once again. The third number is now for bug fixes and very small incremental changes.
Thanks, Jörn.
Interesting about the clock. Does it work with any board? I would like to try that as well, maybe order one to see what it is like playing with it.
I have the Chessnut family, a Pegasus, and an e-One.

3.5.0 will it solve 3 times announcement with several tabs open ?
It would be great to get a clock you could hit the paddle when you've made your move and for the paddle to flip back once your opponent had made their move.
I like to have the clock because it simulates, to some extent, playing OTB.
3.5.0beta is available. Maybe some of you can give it a try?
I have a released a new beta which may or may not solve the problem of move annuncements being repeated. Since I am unable to reproduce the problem myself, it's a little bit hard to say.
Does someone dare to try?
Problem solved nice job
! Should i keep this beta or reinstall the previous version once you have upgrade it to 3.4.12 ?
