Given the fact that the chess.com menu looks very different when you are logged in, I suppose it is one of your user specific settings in chess.com that makes the connect button disappear. Can you play around with these settings until the button reappears? Once we found the setting that causes this, I can try to adapt the connect button.

I had this. The issue is being on the beta track of chess.com. There are substantial sidebar changes. Unsubscribing from the beta features immediately brought the Chessconnect button back.

I connected to the beta to have access to the courses from chessable but I think now they work on the main version right ?

EDIT: just tried it and indeed, now I see the connect button and courses are still present !

Hence, the beta version is not compatible for now. thanks again guys !

I will fix that eventually. Unfortunately, chess.com does not inform me, when they make relevant changes.

Hello Jorn et al. I am on Chess.Com site with Chrome. It looks like the Chess.Com updated the site and it no longer shows the ChessConnect "connect" icon. Does anyone know where to find this?

@Xonehorse1: Maybe you are on the chess.com beta track, too (see posts directly above)? I am not and I still have the connect button.

You are right Jorn! I was in beta testing mode and once I disengaged, the icon appeared! Thank you so much!

As many of you will be aware, I have been unable to initiate a cooperation with Square Off. Consequently, Chessconnect does not directly support the Square Off Pro board. However, Martin Lambert made the impossible possible and designed a small and cheap adapter that basically turns a Square Off Pro into a Chessnut compatible board. Which means that it can then be used with Chessconnect.

Hi Jorn - I am experiencing issues with Noctie and Chessnut Move. Connected via Android tablet and am able to work with Lichess and Chess.Com. However, when I try to use Noctie, the positions are not recognized/set up. Have others experienced such difficulty? Are there more details I may provide to help troubleshoot? Thanks, Bob

@Xonehorse1: So far, I had no complains about this particular combination. Can you provide me with some instructions on how to recreate the problem?

Hi Jorn, The problem is evident on both Android Tablet and iPhone 16. Here is an example, a screenshot of the position from today's Noctie Daily Puzzle. As soon as this appeared on the phone screen, the Chessnut Move began to set up a position...

The problem is that the position the board set up was not this position, it was a completely different position/tactic:

I have no idea how the Move decided to set up a completely different tactical position that was not shown on the app screen. Same type of thing occurred with the Android.

Thank you very much for your work. Could you please add the ability to translate different languages ​​to the Chessconnect app for Android, like it does in the regular Chrome browser? This is necessary for https://lichess.org/study because people create studies in different languages.

@REDGARS: I don't quite understand. As far as I know, the Android app has the same language capabilities as the extension. What exactly are you missing in the app that's available in the extension?
