Chessmaster.com gone

Anyone else notice that www.chessmaster.com is gone? Given that they ended online multiplayer support 2 years ago, does this mean the franchise is going away entirely?

I'm relying on increasingly unreliable memory here, but I believe someone in a previous thread said that Ubisoft (who now own the franchise) had lost the rights to some of the educational content.  Because they're mostly a "shoot 'em up" gaming company, Ubisoft just isn't willing to invest the money to redo the program.  So yeah, unless they sell the rights to someone else, it's probably dead.

No new release for, what, seven years?  It's been dead - and that's a shame.
