How do you use the board? Is it good enough to use for quick time controls? Or is it for rapid games only?

Greetings,

Chessconnect is not a mobile application, it is a browser (Chrome-based) extension. You can utilize it from within your web browser to enable the e-board to communicate with sites that the Chessnut application does not have currently Plus, you can use it in place of said app too.

In addition (unrelated to the above, but useful for the Go), the drivers from Graham O'Neill allow for other connections. As an example, said drivers are built into the Lucas Chess program - which means that I can use my Chessnut Go withe the program (running under Linux Fedora 42 operating system).

Just a minor correction, there is an Android app for Chessconnect and it works very well in my experience. I’ve had a “Go” for a couple of months now and I’ve been really happy with it. Both apps are good, but I use Chessconnect almost exclusively. It not only works well, but offers more features. It lets you play on Chess.com, Lichess, Chessiverse, and Noctie.ai. While it doesn’t have a native engine, you can play against engines on the sites above or use the Chessnut app. I only play 30+0 or longer games, so I don’t have any experience with fast games, though I haven’t seen any lag when playing.
The app is free, so there’s no reason not to give it a try, plus, the dev keeps working on it so it’s likely to get more features as time passes.

Thank you all for your insight on the chessconnect app; I downloaded it yesterday off Google play and I like it and I did notice it had more features. The only minor inconvenience was having to re login, such as playing on chess.com and then going to lichess for a bit, but then you wanna go back to chess.com, I'd have to log back in, whereas on the Chessnut app, I'm already set to go on either site. I can manage that. For Leto, the Chessnut Go is an awesome smart board for both online play and against the engines. However, since you have to move for your opponents side also, I would recommend games with longer time controls, 10 mins and more. I've never tried anything faster than 10 mins with my Go. Anything faster than that, I'll just use my finger
