Hi everyone, I'm totally confused after reading the reviews of two books, "Understanding chess middlegame"- John Nunn and "Find the right plan with Anatoly Karpov". Which one is better to improve my game?

Raja_Kentut

I'd say go with Nunn's. I suspect much of "Find the right plan" wasn't written by Karpov.

Is Nunn's book useful to develop the game rapidly, it is useful to the players of what rating standard?

azziralc

1000-1800 rating.

AlCzervik

Why not read both, and play with the bookmarks?

I can buy only one, any other book for 1500-2200 rating? Is "lessons with a Grandmaster"- Boris Gulko useful?
