Nintendo DS has a few good chess programs, uses a wand, plus has a really long battery life.

How much do you want to spend. I traded an old thinkpad for an iPod touch and have been loving Shredder. You can play against the compter (able to switch places with the computer mid-game, set up positions for analysis, and it has a selection of puzzles.
Touch screen : Yes
6 inch screen: no. Board looks to be about 2x2.

im wondering does anyone know of a computer travelling chess set that is just for playing games( not playing against, so has a computer screen) would preferably be backlit and larger in size that the norm. Six inches would be perfect.Touch screen or wand.
