I just received a newsletter from the people that make the ZMF-II clock. The price is about the same price of the Chronos. Here is the video that they sent me.

Thanks for the post - I really like the look of that clock Here’s a link I followed to the ZMF website too.

Has anyone bought this clock? A review would be helpful?

Howdy - leaving discussions about brightness to other threads - has anyone purchased this and I’m so so, so they have any thoughts/review. I doubt I’ll get one - too expensive when converted to AUD with freight but I’m still interested in the clock.

Thanks. Totally overkill for me to own that clock, but I like its design and it looks robust. I’ll never play a Tournament game but I like the second face for people looking on at the pub. A bit of fun for them to see the clock…

The auto clock feature is optional according to the video.

Hi again - I note that ZMF clocks come in plenty of case colours. If I get one it will most likely be a black case with black high-contrast LCD display but … if I went colour with led displays, what colour case and leds would people choose? I quite like the retro look of green leds but I think it’s probably best that I stick with a black LCD to be the least distracting.

I hope they fixed the sensor bug where holding down one sensor and then repeatedly pressing the second one would cause the move counter to keep switching just by pressing one side (all of the ZMF-II clocks have this bug and apparently at least the early firmware Tap N Set (single sided LCD) versions have a bug similar to this.

But still no seconds display in hours/minutes mode, still the same programming and still no way to set seconds either (unless you go to mm : ss mode?). Why do they keep using their ancient programming?
