You probably just read these screenshots and realized a huge chess scandal immediately. Awhile back croton messaged me, as you can see, that he created a new account that can’t comment for a week (since it is new). He asked me if I could say he was quitting forever, and tell you guys once he can comment again, just as a prank.
I thought this was hilarious and made it immediately. I still stand by it. He started commenting before I revealed it, and suspicion grew from tree that he was croton due to similar usernames. I thought I would just reveal it was a prank and move on, but croton ended up saying he wanted a new persona, and to tell tree they are wrong. I did it. Shortly after I realized I shouldn’t have done that part, and just reveal it.

 2. tree believed me, which made me feel bad.

Croton, I am sorry, but I thought this would be a prank, not a forever lying thing. If you want to create a new character, you still can, just don’t tell me, since I feel really bad about not just revealing it and lying to tree. I stand by the prank part, but permanently lying about it and sticking to the bit seemed mean, and people genuinely missed you.

I love @crotonninja1isagm and any other names chosen. I went through similar struggles with two prior account names and personas (see my Profile for those accounts to be retired).

Stuff happens. We all try to be ourselves while trying to be better than ourselves and we all fail repeatedly and we still like each other or we block. If the real world was this easy, life would totally ROCK. I know most of you as friends so whatever you'all do is just fine with me.
