Daily games with SquareOff Pro?

I have a SquareOff Pro and would like to use it with Chess.com, but with a daily game (1 move per day, or 1 move per 3 days, etc), but am wondering if the board and accompanying iPhone/iPad powering off would make this difficult or impossible.  Is it possible to play a game this way?  Making a move as I pass by the board and see it's my turn - whether or not I need to power the board and/or iPhone/iPad back on to complete the move.

Has anyone tried a daily game with the SOPro, and were you able to resume the game on your move when needed without the game canceling or any other sort of error/issue?

I don't want to start a game only to abandon the game because the board timed out.

If so, any tricks or gotchas I need to be aware of?

I think I'll eventually have to try it to find out. I'm just afraid to be THAT GUY who "abandons" a game.
