Deep Fritz question

Hi everyone,

I'm just wondering if anyone has purchased Deep Fritz on DVD.  They have an option on Chessbase.com to purchase the download version (I've got the trial of it now) and it seems to do online activation.  Does the DVD do activation like this w/ no disc checks? 

I ask because I play on a netbook quite a bit, and even on my regular laptop I hate carrying the disc.  If the DVD does activation, I'll buy that.  Otherwise, I'll stick with the download version.

I bought Fritz12 on DVD (ordinary Fritz, not Deep Fritz). It's all installed on disk and does not need the DVD anymore.

Excellent -- thanks!  I think I'll order the DVD since it has a bunch of extras.  Would be nice if Chessbase offered all the extras, but oh-well.   Thanks again...
