DGT clock one side louder than other?

I need to ask DGT clock owners a question:

My clock is electronically perfect and I can say only good things about the build quality - however, the 'lever' is noticeably louder on one side than the other.

On one side, it gives out a soft 'thwock' sound which is quite pleasent, and on the other, it gives a noticeably louder, more agressive 'click' sound.

If I very slowly press each side, the 'thwock' side is almost silent, and the 'click' side still gives a 'click' sound, like clicking a mouse.

The 'click' side is also very slightly more weighted, like it depresses more quickly than the other side.

Is this a fault, or is it quite normal? I am pretty sure that I am being too picky because it is perfect apart from being a little bit louder on one side than the other.

I should add that the clock is new, I'm thinking that it might get softer with use, maybe the mechanism needs "bedding in" a bit?

At least you can hear when the other moves

I just got that clock and the same thing happened. It is perfectly fine besides that.
