The older ones have these test modes, but it’s more fun in the 2500. DGT are the only digital ones I have that seem to have them.

Yeah I get a kick watching the kids think my clock is defective, lol.
I wasted time making a pointless and useless video about how to put your DGT Chess Clock into test mode. Then I demonstrate how to test it. I don’t recommend that you waste your precious and valuable time watching it. This video is only for the nerdiest of chess geeks. This is information that the cool kids never need to ever know.
