"I thought it was a lot of money to invest in displaying one set." only if you have to buy another house to get the wall space required

What everyone else said and then some.  An impressive collection. The way you've set it all up is great. I love the idea of the spice racks.  Thanks for sharing.

Truly a superb collection and something to be proud of.....but....it is surpassed by my 4 year old grandson's toy collection, which is taking over the house. -happy.png

I don't think any of us dinosaurs can compete with a four year old's toy collection! Our toys just tend to be a lot more expensive!

What are you mumbling about rc? 4 year old kids nowadays have iphones, xboxes etc ... as expensieve as chess sets at least!

those are all draw boards, tricked from the demons. demons love to draw with the God or Gm, thats why.

No matter how expensive is a draw, it remains such, so a draw, thats why!

Thank you for sharing.

Chuck - As usual your sets leave me jealous and it is a pleasure to view them. You have an incredible collection and I love when you share pics with us (as I do with all the sets that are shown here). My favorite of this set of pictures is the set for the black pieces in post #3.

Two questions for you -

What are you using to hold your boards?

How do you keep track of which sets are in which boxes (post #11)? I have just a few sets (8) compared to you and I can never remember which box holds which set. Probably doesn't help that I use the same boxes for all of the sets.

Thanks, Rsava.

I use plate and lid racks I picked up on Amazon to hold the boards. As of yet, I don't have a system for keeping track of the sets. Every time I look for a particular one it's an adventure.

One thing for sure, on a more serious note....I totally appreciate what goes into putting together such a wonderful collection of chess sets/boards etc. You certainly deserve a hearty congratulations for all the effort it must have taken!!

Aw, shucks...

If you have 24 sets & 24 boards you can employ up to 576 set + board configurations !

I can honestly say I never thought of that. Thanks, NHB.
