Your collection is absolutely magnificent.  The Russian Federation may one day come to YOU to sponsor a museum of Russian Chess!

Finally got around to organizing (at least initially) (most of) my Chess books...

Nice job, Chuck. I'm gradually getting the basement rec room organised to handle my entire collection of sets, books, clocks, and boards. I've got a long way to go, though.

Thanks, RC. It's a bit of a task, isn't it?

Then it's on to my American, British, French, Spanish, Latin American, and German sets...

Chuck, its nice that you have your sets on shelves for easy access. most of my sets are stored away. hence somewhat of a hassle fishing them out.

LOL. That's an M2 Bradley. One of my son's toys until he moved on to the real thing.

Knights in armor.  Looked like a Tiger!

Hey, cgrau, what size are the squares of those vintage Druekes you have displayed with your Soviet sets in post #1? And would you happen to have a pic on hand of a Soviet set - with Kings about 4" tall - on one of those boards? It'll help me visualize what I am aiming for with my own sets over here and it'd be a big help. Thanks!

They're 2.25", Up. Here is a Latvian set on my "newest" vintage 2.25" Drueke, which is not among the three displayed with my sets.

I think I prefer a tighter board. Will keep my eyes out for a 2 in. Thanks, cgrau, you've been a lot of help.
