In the German chess community this adorable documentary about the 1970 Chess Olympiad in the small town of Siegen, Germany, is making the rounds, so I thought I'd share :-)

(With the automatically translated subtitles it should be possible to follow it, especially if you keep in mind that "Siegen" means "to win", so if the subtitles are talking about "victories", they probably mean Siegen.)

They are so proud to have *one* computer on the premises, and they are doing daily reports by hand/typewriter.

But by far my favorite is displaying games in the analysis room with the help of translucent chess sets on an overhead projector happy (around 6:29)
