Make you feel better, possibly. Make you better, only practice and study will do that. But an expensive set would be nice to look at and and play with while doing all of that practice and study.
Does expensive chess boards make you a better player

A nice chess set that is pleasant to hold and look at chess can improve mood. If you prescribe to the idea that chess is also a psychological game then yes, a nice chess set can help you play your best.
Now "nice chess set" is subjective. I know for certain colorful weighted plastic chess pieces have made my nieces and nephews excited about chess much more so than my more expensive wooden sets. So if you like and enjoy your set that's all that matters.

makes a lot of sense what you guys are saying, proper feedback from the chess community. Thanks you guys, but endgame347 has the correct reply actually.
Maybe if I had a membership I could actually study and practice to better myself.
Anyone willing here to sponsor me a basic membership? It would be greatly appreciated.

Howdy Chess Lovers,
Do you guys think that if I but more expensive chess pieces that I would become a better player?
I see all the pros are doing it and I was just wondering if I should do the same.
