e+Chess rocks!

e+Chess! That's right. Its awesome. You can interactively read thought the book. For example, the chessmen will move on the diagrams as you click though the notation. This is probably the coolest thing I have seen in a while. I hate e books generally, but this feature has me really hooked. So, there is the Capablanca book for free. Then there are 7 others (I think?) which have no ratings. Does anyone else here have e+chess, and can you recommend, or comment about the other books available?

Thanks,

Mike

I have E+chess i think its great. I just wished they had a bigger selection of books. Of The books they have i Got two in old-School paperback style :-) Its Curacao 1962 and Streetfighting Chess. Both are definitely worth a read, but dont take my word for it. Read a couple of reviews and then make your mind up... :-)

Ohh, by The Way... Check out Chess Viewer in The app-store... Same concept as E+chess but with at Lot more books to chose from. I even Think you Can import your Own chess Ebooks if you Own any, but have not Tried this yet, so cannot comment on how good this works.

Indeed, it does!  I started a thread on it also about 9 months ago:

Silman posted somewhere that his Reassess book would soon be available in e+ Chess.  I haven't looked at the list of new books yet to know if it's happened yet.

They just released another book. Gary Lane's Chess Puzzles

Chess Viewer is the app put out by Everyman Chess, the book publisher, and all of its eBooks are electronic versions of their own printed books (as far as I know). This isn't necessarily a bad thing - indeed Everyman have published many excellent titles. They cost a little less than the paper equivalent (though often not when Amazon discounts are taken into account) - which to my mind makes they a bit more expensive than the e+book offerings.
